Challenges
A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find
satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without
him, who can eat or find enjoyment? To the man who pleases him, God gives
wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of
gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This
too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. (Ecclesiastes 2:24-26)
I thought, "Age should speak; advanced years should teach wisdom." But
it is the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him
understanding. (Job 32:7-8)
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was
with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
(Joshua 1:5)
